We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to the success of 2025 Jumpstart: The CARE Workshop. Your energy, engagement, and enthusiasm made this event a truly special one. The event was an incredible success!

Held live at Green River College in Kent, Washington, this hands-on workshop provided businesses with the tools and insights needed to kickstart the new year. Featuring expert-led sessions, engaging activities, and invaluable networking opportunities, this CARE Workshop was a dynamic and enriching experience for all attendees.

If you missed this event, we hope you’re able to join us at future CARE Mastermind events and workshops.

Key Takeaways from Our Experts

Lily Tran shared crucial insights on preparing for the upcoming tax season. Attendees learned about common tax mistakes, the option to file an extension if bookkeeping isn’t ready, and the importance of understanding how their business is taxed. With actionable to-do lists, business checklists, and year-end client checklists in hand, participants left feeling more confident and prepared for the upcoming tax season.

Erica Miller emphasized the power of goal setting and vision planning. She highlighted how periodic reevaluation fosters clarity and focus, sharing her personal journey of transitioning from a full-time career to entrepreneurship. Her inspiring quote, “Speak what you seek, until you see what you’ve said,” resonated deeply with attendees. Erica

also led a group activity celebrating individual accomplishments, reinforcing the importance of recognizing progress and setting meaningful business goals.

Jeff Thungc made learning about SEO strategy fun and interactive. He led an engaging online game that tested participants’ SEO marketing knowledge, culminating in a friendly competition that saw Erica Miller emerge as the winner—who then generously gifted her prize to another participant. His session provided attendees with practical tips

for mastering SEO and enhancing their business marketing efforts.

Building Community and Connections

Beyond the informative sessions, the workshop fostered new relationships and strengthened existing ones within the business community. Attendees enjoyed networking, sharing experiences, and celebrating their achievements together. Laughter and camaraderie filled the room, making the event not only educational but also a truly

enjoyable experience. Thanks to photographer Kristina Pearl, these memorable moments were beautifully captured.
