ACCOUNTING & TAX SPECIALIST
We are seeking an Accounting & Tax Specialist. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both remotely and at our Kent office.
​
Primary Responsibilities:

Review clients’ accounting records using QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Prepare books for tax preparation.
-
Prepare financial statements.
-
Complete quarterly projections.
-
Prepare federal tax return: 1040, 1065, 1120S and 1120
-
Review individual and business tax returns for completeness and accuracy
-
Provide advice and answer client’s bookkeeping and tax questions
-
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements
-
Assist with tax research related to client’s situation.

Participate in annual tax education events as directed

Actively seeks updated tax knowledge

Participate in regular review and discussion meetings with the CEO, both in-person and via Zoom.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

Accounting and tax preparation require focus and attention to detail. The ideal team member meets these requirements:

A bachelor's degree in accounting.

A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping and tax experience.

CPA or EA license preferred.

Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.

BOOKKEEPER
We are seeking a Bookkeeper. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both remotely and at our Kent office.

Primary Responsibilities:

Establish a chart of accounts for clients' books.

Maintain client's accounting records using QuickBooks Online.

Reconcile accounts.
-
Preparie financial statements and reports.
-
Handle B&O and 1099 Tax Filing.
-
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.

Provide general administrative office support and organizing files.
-
Conduct regular review and discussion meetings with the CEO, both in-person and via Zoom.

The Client Service Specialist provides excellent service, operation and sales support to the firm staff and our clients. Serves as the initial point of contact with responsibilities to greet, direct, and assist clients with any service-related issues as well as resolve issues and problems. Builds positive relationships with peers, business partners, and community members while working effectively with others to accomplish firm's goals.
